Hello everyone.

Today we want to talk about Castilla y León, also known as Castile and Leon, the region in Spain. It´s one of the most traditional regions of Spain. In our community there have been social conditions and traditions preserved for centuries. Castilla y León is an indispensable part of Spain and in this community we can find a great cultural, heritage and gastronomic richness very wide and valued by visitors.

We are manufacters of liqueurs and gins, but we think it´s important to share with you how it feels to live here, share our culture. Without a doubt it´s a character that is reflected in what we do when we make our Bull Terrier liqueurs and gins.


Liqueurs and Gins Bull Terrier comes from Zamora, one of the 9 provinces of Castilla y Leon.

Spain has undergone a great social transformation, where there has been a great migration to the big cities. People have moved from the rural areas of the provinces and regions such as Castilla y León to the great cities like Madrid or Bilbao. It was common for people who traveled to these cities to look for other jobs, taking part of the gastronomic wealth with them, such as sausages, cured ham,  cheeses, their wines, their spirits and the use of Spoon dishes, often being recipes from each area. In this way the big cities saw the customs of traditional food enriched in the center of the table of a working family. Nowadays some of these families in the big cities have lost part of this tradition, because of the busy life they have in the big cities, this is what makes family reunion practically impossible, something that is still preserved here in large part. Yes, we are traditional and perhaps very familiar.

Gin of castilla y leon and gastronomy  is very well apreciated.

When we talk about Gin, we like to relate it with gastronomy. But… why?

Currently the gin and tonic is the long drink or cocktail most linked to gastronomy. The cuisine of Castilla y León is based on the patience and natural quality of their food. We like the desktop without hurry.  In Castilla y León and its rural areas it is common to prepare a menu for the whole family for 2 or 3 hours a day, an unequivocal reflection of holy patience and rigor for what has been done in a traditional way that characterizes us.

Here we have preserved the thought of; everything made with love and passion simply taste better.  In our area seasonal food is very common, as well as healing, with great determination and patience, of sausages,  cured hams, cheeses … on the other hand we are a world power as wines of the different denominations of origin. This is where our spirits keep a direct relationship with the world of wine, being our spirits distilled from the pomace of wine from these lands. Our gin is also made wine alcohol.



We are located next to other áreas that preserve this characteristics, like Galicia, Asturias and Cantabria. But with the difference that in Castilla and Leon we have an weather  that is perfect for the cured products. In addition to being one of the most favorable areas for agriculture, with an wealth of water, given by the Duero Rive. If one looks at a physical map, Castilla y León is like a large water collection, surrounded by mountains, where all its rivers go to the Duero River.

Castilla y León has a gastronomic richness respected today worldwide, and increasingly valued and recognized by new followers of gastronomic trends.

After a good meal, of course, we will be present with our spirits and gins, made with patience and tradition.
